Devin Elle Kurtz is a digital illustrator and visual development artist. Her focus is magical scenes that combine fantasy elements with environments that feel visceral and real.

She has worked in the animation industry as a background painter/designer and visual development artist since 2017. She was the lead background painter on “Disenchantment” at Rough Draft Studios from 2019-2021.

She has illustrated book covers for HarperCollins (Starminster, The First State of Being), Penguin Random House (The Teller of Small Fortunes), Macmillan (Juniper’s Christmas), and Simon and Schuster (The Forgotten Magic of Zoey Turner, The Incorruptibles).

Other past clients include Netflix, Disney, Mondo, Dark Horse, Wizards of the Coast, Gamewright, and Adobe. Her debut picture book as an author-illustrator, The Bakery Dragon, published by Random House Kids, was an Indie Next List pick and an Indie bestseller. She is also the illustrator of Mother of Sharks published by Penguin Workshop.

SPACEPANDA was founded by Tom Rowlandson, who has spent his career working with artists on the business side of art. Today, SPACEPANDA oversees e-commerce operations and brand development for several leading artists.

Before SPACEPANDA, Tom worked in business development at McGaw Graphics, publisher for the Warhol Estate and Walt Disney. He served as Director of Prints & Publishing at DeviantArt.com and co-founded the art company Eyes On Walls, which was acquired in 2017.

Tom works with artists including Lora Zombie, Devin Elle Kurtz, Loish (Lois van Baarle), and Sam Yang (Samdoesarts). He has also collaborated with entertainment, fashion, and retail brands such as HBO, BlackMilk Clothing, Urban Outfitters, Art.com, the Art Gallery of Ontario, Demi Lovato, WWE, Warner Brothers, Perrier, Sony, AMC, Gallery 1988 and The Hundreds.
